#1 Tip Lush - Fresh Handmade Cosmetic/ -Tunbridge Wells
Hey, this is my first post for advising. I’m a bit
excited about how you like the new series...
My first Tipp is Lush, but I am sure you knew them
before, or maybe you have heard the name.
First of all, I thought it might
be interesting, when I write something about the company itself, about their
image and maybe something about the shops.
Lush is a cosmetics retailer headquartered in Poole,
Dorset and United Kingdom. The company was founded by Mark Constance, who
studied trichology and Liz Weir, a beauty therapist. Both met in a hair and
beauty salon in Poole, England.
A few years later, they decided to branch out and
start their own business selling natural hair and beauty products.
Lush products are made in factories or
"kitchens" as their staffs call them, around the world
including England, Canada and Germany.
Lush’s trademarks are black tub products
with stickers of the actual creators of the product. The unique trademark stamped
on their recyclable black plastic pots.
Lush products are 100% vegetarian, and often
contain fruits and vegetables such as grapefruit juice, vanilla beans, avocado
butter, rosemary oil, fresh papaya and coconut. However, some products contain
lanolin, milk, eggs, honey, and beeswax. Parabens are used to preserve a number of the products.
Lush produces every sort of creams, soaps,
shampoos, shower gels, lotions, moisturizers, scrubs, masks and other cosmetics
for face, hair, and body using only vegetarian or vegan recipes. Solid shampoos,
as well as "Toothy Tabs", which are solid toothpaste tablets, are
also online available and in retail store.

I really do like the store because, for me personally,
it’s very important to use only organic products for my body instead of
chemistry. All in all, it’s just a good shop.
Another quite likeable and positive thing is the
helpfulness of the staff, because, when you go to a store with a question or
even a problem, immediately there is some help for you.
It’s not that anonym like in other stores, so you come
in, you take a product and you leave. It’s more like a familiar atmosphere.
Besides that, the assistants in Lush can show
you products, for example how you use one of the products. Also, you can try
and test products if you ask, or if you want to, they show you around the shop.
In my opinion it’s awesome. The products are not too cheap,
but also not too expensive, the prices are just fair.
So, let us start with my little tour around the store:
(Hope you will like it...)
